Every New Year’s
You’re reminded of how much life is ahead
One hundred and forty-nine days later
Sometimes one hundred and fifty
You’re reminded of how fast life passes
Today is the latter
And concludes your twenty fourth trip around the sun
Though that doesn’t seem long
It’s been a pretty wild ride
You may have thought of unbuckling several times
But every reconsideration brought you to this day
Keep travelling
Keep dreaming
Keep going

A birthday poem to myself. If there were only one day to show compassion to yourself, shouldn’t it at least be your birthday?
Happy birthday to you Shllyn. May God bless you with many more years to come in Jesus name. May you surrender your heart and life to him so that you will be found, healed and live everlastingly in Him. He loves you very much and blesses you with life everyday, so that you can fulfill his purpose on this earth he created. Blessings! ❤ 🙂

Happy birthday to you Shllyn! Wish you the best in your mid twenties. The time past real fast while we’re chillin’, or busy doing something for some one else that’s not yourself.
